Un des pilotes les plus sympa du Monde des rallyes (si ce n’est le plus sympa !!!).
"HOLLYWOOD", son surnom, est vraiment un grand pilote. Il suffit de voir l'engouement de son pays autour lui. Il n'est pas une épreuve du Mondial où ses fans ne se déplacent. A l'instar de HIRVONEN, sa période "FOCUS" fut en demi-teinte, par contre l'IMPREZA lui a fait connaitre tous les succès escomptés. A son volant, il remporte le titre suprême en 2003. Il comptait rééditer l'opération en 2004, mais c'était sans compter avec LOEB qui se vengeait inexorablement. Petter décidait de ne plus se couper les cheveux avant la prochaine victoire. Il a du renoncer car, depuis la GRANDE BRETAGNE 2005, il n'a plus renoué avec le succès. Ce n'est pas le talent qui est en cause (il suffit de voir ses passages d'anthologie), mais plutôt sa monture et ses pneumatiques, en tous cas. jusqu'en 2007.
Nouvelle voiture pour 2008, qui s'avérera assez difficile à mettre au point, ce qui fera de l'ombre à sa motivation. 6°, ce n'est pas mal.... Ah, s'il n'y avait pas eu ce diable de LOEB!!!
En 2009, SUBARU arrête la compétition, mais rien n'arrête Petter....Il rachète une XSARA 2006 et se relance dans le grand bain. Puis viendra la C4!

La suite ? le rallycross (il sera le premier champion du monde et prendra même sa revanche sur LOEB) où il excelle, et n’oublions pas la gérance de son fils Oliver, grand espoir et une grande figure à l’image de son papa. Lui changera de nationalité pour devenir Suédois comme maman…Petter sera le premier champion du monde dans 2 disciplines différentes : Rallye et Rallycross

20° pilote de tous les temps, juste derrière ROHRL, et devant SALONEN (1° norvégien), Rally préféré : CYPRUS, surface préférée : la terre et la neige, pas trop passionné par l’asphalte. Fiabilité : 3 étoiles….13° performer de tous les temps

One of the nicest drivers in the World of Rallies (if not the nicest!!!).

"HOLLYWOOD", his nickname, is truly a great driver. Just look at the enthusiasm of his country around him. There is not a World Championship event where his fans do not travel. Like HIRVONEN, his "FOCUS" period was mixed, on the other hand the IMPREZA gave him all the expected success. At the wheel, he won the supreme title in 2003. He intended to repeat the operation in 2004, but that was without counting on LOEB who was inexorably taking revenge. Petter decided not to cut his hair again before the next victory. He had to give up because, since GREAT BRITAIN 2005, he has not been successful again. It is not talent that is the problem (you only have to look at his anthology passages), but rather his mount and his tires, in any case. until 2007.

New car for 2008, which will prove quite difficult to develop, which will overshadow his motivation. 6th, that's not bad.... Ah, if only it hadn't been for that devil LOEB!!!

In 2009, SUBARU stopped competing, but nothing stopped Petter... He bought a 2006 XSARA and jumped back into the deep end. Then came the C4!

The next step? Rallycross (he would be the first world champion and even took his revenge on LOEB) where he excelled, and let's not forget the management of his son Oliver, a great hope and a great figure like his dad. He would change nationality to become Swedish like mom...Petter would be the first world champion in 2 different disciplines: Rally and Rallycross

20th driver of all time, just behind ROHRL, and ahead of SALONEN (1st Norwegian), Favorite Rally: CYPRUS, Favorite surface: dirt and snow, not too keen on asphalt. Reliability: 3 stars….13th performer of all time
